Representatives from Ehrhardt Tool & Machine in Granite City attended the 2010 National Conference held jointly by the NTMA – National Tooling and Machine Association and the PMA – Precision Metalforming Association in Amelia Island, FL. This joint conference brings together the NTMA as the makers of the tools, jigs, fixtures, gages, special machines, and precision machined parts with those PMA members who use these to create precision metal products by stamping, fabricating, spinning, slide forming and roll forming technologies. This combined group represents over 3,000 members with more than 150,000 employees providing the building blocks of our economy.

The Ehrhardt Tool & Machine Annual Golf Outing and Picnic was held at Arlington Greens Golf Course in Granite City, IL on Saturday, August 28th. Over fifty employees, suppliers and families enjoyed the great weather, good food and a scramble-format golf tournament.

St. Louis - Ehrhardt has launched a hiring program to secure the workforce needed for the manufacturing recovery. The company announced a program that hires ten people in specific skilled areas of the company during a plant wide meeting today. Ehrhardt Tool & Machine to Exhibit at the 2010 FABTECH Expo in Atlanta

Ehrhardt Acquires CyberTech International's Automated Brazing Systems

On Monday February 23, 2009, Ehrhardt Tool and Machine Company, Inc. closed on the purchase of the intellectual property of Cybertech International of Daytona Beach, FL. Cybertech was owned by Lean Engineering. Cybertech produces custom automation equipment from simple pick and place robotics to complete assembly stations that verify sequence, torque, position and functional operation. In addition to the purchase of the Cybertech designs, drawings, trademarks and customer information, Ehrhardt has contracted for technical design and start-up assistance for the next several years.

Orlando, FL - Ehrhardt exhibited at the world’s largest HVAC/R trade show in Orlando, FL January 25 – 27, 2010 at the Orange County Convention Center. This location proved to be a strong attraction with record attendance representing both the domestic and international manufacturers, distributors, engineers and installers of HVAC equipment. The Show is the eighth largest with over 350,000 sq ft of exhibitor space for 1,826 exhibitors on the floor, including 370 international exhibitors and 209 who are exhibiting for the first time. ASHRAE held their annual convention at the show providing a wide range of educational seminars and technical training sessions.
