Lakeview Veterinary Clinic in East Peoria, Illinois is a full service companion animal hospital. We are now accepting new patients. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.

Our medical team is available to help you understand, and 'bust the myths' that sometimes surround owning a pet. For example, did you know how many toenails a dog has?

Other questions are more serious - like why should we vaccinate our cat and dog against viruses or bacteria?

One of the medical advances we are proud to offer at Lakeview Veterinary Clinic is CO2 laser for all surgical procedures. The CO2 laser is a knifeless surgery. The physics of the procedure are similar to human laser surgery, where a concentrated light source pinpoints the specific cells that need to be cut. The process allows for less bleeding and swelling, so consequently, less pain, and quicker recovery for your pet.

As of July 2008, we now have a home delivery option for our patients. What does that mean? It means you can go online here by clicking on the 'Home Delivery' icon and request refills of prescription medications, flea, tick and heartworm medications, and it will be delivered right to your door. You can also order Hills pet food products such as the prescription foods (c/d, r/d, etc.), and Science Diet brand foods! You also have an option of having the food automatically shipped to your house in a certain time frame, so you never have to worry about running out again! We enjoy the irony of being across the street from a casino. One of the ideas we talk about at Lakeview Veterinary Clinic is reducing the risk of disease with your dog or cat.
