IT IS GOD’S PLAN.
We are here to help and support each other in finding Gods grace and peace that can sometimes be missing or not consistent in our lives. If you are looking for a church where you can feel at home we invite you to experience Gods grace and peace at our worship services where you are always welcome.
Join us for worship
At our 9 a.m. Sunday worship service, Pastor Wayne Shelksohn and our lay ministers lead us in worship that includes music and liturgy from the Lutheran Book of Worship and With One Voice, choir anthems, Bible readings, a children’s sermon, and a message. We observe the sacrament of Holy Communion (except on the fifth Sunday of the month). A healing station is available on the last Sunday of each month. There are many contemporary aspects to our service as well, and are looking to expand that portion of our worship experience.
Getting to Know You
During Fellowship Time 10:15 a.m., our congregations groups and families meet with members and visitors in our fellowship area to enjoy conversation and a variety of refreshments.
Learning to Walk in The Way
Beginning at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday, various education classes are offered for children Age 2 through adults. Included are:
Youth Education Classes are offered for children ages 2 5th grade.
Confirmation Classes for Grades 6 though 8 to prepare children to become young Christians and what it means to be Lutheran.
High School youth classes which feature lively discussions of topical issues and a focus on the students personal walk with God.
Adult classes on current events, stewardship, purposeful living and many other topics.
Childrens Church is held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Children ages 2 5th grade are encouraged to attend Childrens Church. We have an opening song, an offering – time or talent – a lesson and a time for prayer.
