Our Discipleship Thought, Prayer and Scripture Memory Verse for the Week.
First our Discipleship Scripture and Thought. 1 Pet 5:7, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because God cares for you!"
He cares for you! Four monosyllables - so simple and yet so profound. Why should God care for you and for me? Because the God of the Bible was, is and will always be a Caring God. What are we to do? We should by full faith in God, give Him all [not just some, not just the big ones, not just the spiritual ones; but give all] our anxieties to Him and know beyond the shadow of a doubt that He will release us and relieve us from all our anxieties and in the place of all of our anxieties, God will give us His perfect peace and rest.
Second our Prayer. God, You are our Loving Heavenly Father and we worship You. You have blessed us beyond our wildest imagination with your grace upon grace. You have blessed us with the fullness of your presence and your joy. Thank you for these and all your immeasurable blessings to us. Today, by faith in the strong name of Jesus, we give you all our anxieties and all our cares and all our burdens and all our needs. According to Your promise, release us and relieve us from all our cares and all our worries and in their place fill us with Your peace that passes all understanding and empower us to live daily as more than conquerors. Through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen & Amen.
Remember today and everyday that God cares just for you 24/7/365 days!
