Mr. Donald Peters, owner and senior practitioner, earned a BS degree from Eastern Michigan University and is a graduate of Northwestern University 's School of Orthotics and Prosthetics. His first few years of practice were in Michigan , then after 17 years as a partner in an Ohio practice, he and his family moved to Illinois . His practice is designed around the core value of treating individuals in the same manner you yourself would wish to be treated. Mr. Peters brings over 30 years of adult and pediatric orthotic, prosthetic and pedorthic experience to down state Illinois . He has been active in both state and national professional organizations, was chosen to serve on the athletes' technical support team for the Atlanta , Georgia Paralympics, and regularly serves as a certification examiner for the American Board of Certification for Orthotics and Prosthetics. He and his wife, Janet, have two adult children.
