Owners John & Jennifer Kruger
Eightyears ago, John Kruger decided he wanted to try martial arts; it was time to get off the couch and do something. After completing one class, he was hooked. Six months later John became a SWAT member; six months after that an instructor...today, he owns his own school.
Jen and John Kruger, the owners of the Danville ATA Black belt Academy, believe in what they do. While they have no children of their own, they have fifty that on a daily basis, show them respect, love, and hard work. Children that look forward to coming to see them, fear bringing them a bad report card, and grin ear to ear when they receive a high five.
The ATA maintains that Every Child Is A Winner and Every Child Is Special. The Danville ATA Black Belt Academy teaches by that every day. Our students are our children, and we treat each of them with respect, help them to set goals, and challenge them both mentally and physically. Each student learns self-discipline, self-control, honor, and respect; they also learn to be part of our ATA family, and the pride in accomplishing something they thought never possible.

The new facility is located near downtown Danville, situated between two long time Danville churches. With over fifty parking spaces,a massive classrooms, a parents lounge, workout facility, kitchen, and game room, the new building lacks nothing, and offers everything. In December of 2007 the school opened its doors to Red Dragon JuJitsu who holds classes multiple times a week.And in 2011 we hope to add Kick Boxing courses, as well as Yoga.
Regardless of your reasoning for wanting to try martial arts-for the fitness and exercise, the art and technique, the competition and challenge, the self-defense and safety, or for the fun of it-we have a place for you.
