When Thunderbird opened its doors 42 years ago, the name Nursery School was the most common name given to schools that specialized in education for three and four-year olds. Today, we more commonly call these schools preschools.

So, when we celebrated our 35th anniversary, we changed our name from Thunderbird Nursery School, Inc. to Thunderbird Preschool, Inc. Nursery School spoke of our long tradition of providing excellence in early childhood education and Preschool speaks of our continued commitment to provide the best early children education possible into the future !!

MISSION STATEMENT

We believe young children need a firm foundation both at home and at school, upon which they will build a sense of trust, a love of learning, a positive self-image and respect for others. We assist children in the development of their social conscience and we promote the expectation of group cooperation and participation.

We strive to provide a safe, loving, and educational environment with an abundance of exciting experiences that will foster your childs development: cognitively, physically, socially, and emotionally.

We strive, as educators, to build a partnership with you, as parents, working together to support each other for the benefit of your child.
