**2011 St. Nicholas Parish Directory
For over 21 years, St. Nicholas Church has opened its doors to the community during our annual St. Nicholas Holiday Festival. For one weekend (December 4-5, 2010) our parish campus is transformed into a festive Christmas marketplace featuring Christmas trees and greenery for sale, a craft fair showcasing local artisans, and visits from Santa himself! The Festival is a major fundraiser for St. Nicholas and this year we hope to raise $35,000.
Publishing a parish directory is an integral part of this fundraising effort. Again this year, we are asking you to help in meeting our goals by placing an ad in our Parish Directory. Your advertisement or professional statement will reach nearly 1,500 households who actively use this directory throughout the year.
If you are interested in advertising in our directory, the Ad prices are as follows:
Full page - $350 Half page - $200
Quarter page - $125 Eighth page - $75
Patrons will have their names listed for $30.
In order to meet our publishing deadline, we would appreciated the receipt of your Ad completed application and payment by November 30, 2010. Thank you for your support of our Parish.

Adult Faith Formation at St. Nicholas Church
The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a process for those considering becoming Catholic. Specifically, it is :
For those who are not baptized and are in the process of making a decision to become Catholic;
For those who were baptized in another faith and are thinking of becoming Catholic;
For those who were baptized Roman Catholic and have not received Eucharist or Confirmation.
The process is designed to assist those interested in Catholicism to learn about our faith, our tradition, and our celebrations. Each person is invited to reflect on his/her own relationship with God and the faith community. We journey through this process together, assisting each other in our response to God’s call.
If you or someone you know might be interested in participating in the RCIA, please call Sr. Christina at 847.864.1185, x 23 for more information. Our sessions are held on Mondays at 7:00 pm in the Parish Office though other arrangements can be made.
