Meet Sophie the Boxer and Labrador Retriever Mix
Dear Clients and Friends:
Thanksgiving is a perfect time to thank those people in our lives who matter to us. I want to thank you, who do matter to us very much. We are so grateful that you trust us with your beloved animals and your home. For 23 years (has it really been that long?) we have served the Lake County area. We have met awesome people and sweet pets.
Thanks to your ongoing support, by using our services, we were able to start a non-profit humane society called, Animal Education and Rescue (AEAR). AEAR serves Lake County and the surrounding area by taking in homeless animals, visiting a nursing home in Libertyville and has a very active youth club. We are also able to help educate kids by going into schools and speaking about responsible pet ownership and more. Without you we would not have been able to provide this valuable service. PSA is the number one sponsor of AEAR.
So, I hope you have a wonderful holiday, whatever you do and once again, thanks.

Great Holiday Gift, The Animal Warrior!
The story of Animal Education and Rescue, the pets rescued and the programs that touched people's lives is written about through the eyes of the founder and director of AEAR, Sandy Kamen Wisniewski. Stories from the heart, carrying the reader through the journey of creating a one-of-a-kind humane society.
Here's what one reader said about the book: "The stories of each animal reminds me of the James Herriot books. I think that the book is great. It is a great book for all ages." -Margie D. (Pre-School Teacher and mom)
This unforgettable story is a must read for all animal lovers. The book is available to purchase online using the buttons below or come to any of our events and purchase a book or two.
