Together, members of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, the Sons of The American Legion and the The American Legion Riders make up what is known as The Legion Family. All these organizations place high importance on preserving our American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for our nation's children, caring for veterans and their families, and perhaps most importantly, teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.
November 11th is Veteran's Day. As usual, the ceremony will be held at the Train Station in town. It will start at 11:00 AM sharp. We can always use help with Flag Bearers, Rifle Squad. If you would like to help, please be at the Post at 10:00 AM so we can assign the positions. All members of the Post should attend this ceremony as it is our day to show we support to all members of the military.......Read More
CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
The 2010 Childrens Christmas Party will be Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 10:00am. We will start promptly. Children must be present to receive their gift. The party is for children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, and The Legion Riders (703). All registration forms must be received by November 17th - No Late Registration accepted!. Due to the overwhelming response to this party the eligible ages are 0-9years.
