Barrington Youth & Family Services is a community-based, non-profit social service agency, providing comprehensive family counseling, youth outreach and prevention programming for Barrington area youth and their families.
BYFS service boundaries coincide with Barrington Community Unit School District 220, including portions of Cook, Lake, McHenry, and Kane counties and Barrington, Cuba, Dundee, and Ela townships.
BYFS collaborates with local government, schools and community leaders to design programs that address the specific issues and needs of Barrington area families, as well as identify and respond to new issues as they emerge.

BYFS offers counseling and mental health assessments to address concerns of at-risk/unusual behavior. Call (847) 381-0345 for an appointment. Most insurance accepted, sliding fee scaleavailable. The BYFS office is conveniently located across from Barrington High School.
