The firm of Thomas W. Buckley provides architectural services for residential and commercial projects; specializing in new homes and additions. Our design process begins with a thorough understanding of the clients' needs and wish-list. We focus on issues of greatest importance to our clients, and establish a realistic budget and schedule at the outset. We research zoning and building code requirements, and evaluate site conditions.
In the absence of an obvious design solution, we offer numerous design options. We discuss the merits of the different options to establish a clear direction. Computer-drawn preliminary drawings are presented for further review. After several meetings to fine-tune the design and establish a comprehensive scope of work, drawings are released for bidding.

After guiding the client through the bidding process, a meeting with the Owner, Architect, and successful Contractor is suggested to reaffirm the schedule and discuss any anticipated changes. Shortly thereafter, drawings are released for building permit and construction.
Representatives from this office are available during construction should questions arise. We maintain contact during construction and strive to make the whole experience uneventful yet satisfying. We take pride in our design and look forward to completion of a project the Owner can enjoy.

Designs from this office combine the artistic talents of the Architect and the Owners taste. We strive to create a design solution based on the clients needs and desires, not driven by the Architects ego. In the case of room additions, our goal is to make the new work invisible, as if it was always intended. The curb appeal of every project is a paramount concern.
