Family owned and operated since 1963; Calo Restaurant has recently
undergone a major facelift. With its beautiful mahogany bar and
superstructure, this location makes a great destination for viewing
your favorite sporting events on their many television sets, which also
includes a theater sized projection screen.
The dining room is exquisitely decorated with its naturally exposed
brick walls and hardwood floors, enhanced by hand painted murals and
still photos of Old World Italy. It also feature floor to ceiling
glass windows overlooking picturesque Clark street, making it a
wonderful spot to enjoy all that historical Andersonville has to offer.
One thing that hasn't changed is the food that's made Calo famous- like
our array of authentic Italian pasta dishes; succulent steaks, veal and
chicken dishes, and our selection of fresh fish brought in daily, not
to mention Calo's famous pizza and their fall off-the-bone B.B.Q. ribs.
In March 2005, the Chicago Sun Times Food Section picked Calo
Restaurant as the place to go for "Real Chicago Pizza."
The original Hub's Restaurant, located in Skokie, was established in 1976 and since then has been devoted to quality service.
