My etymological dictionary indicates the word thank comes from the root "to think." When one "thanks" another, one is expressing "thoughtful" gratitude. Interesting. I have much for which to be thankful.

Church of the Holy Comforter is an Episcopal Church, part of the Diocese of Chicago. Since 1902 we have celebrated the Good News of Jesus Christ in Kenilworth, Illinois. Worship and community are central to our life.
