The Ballykine House was a shooting Lodge, formally owned by the Guinness Family who lived in nearby Ashford Castle. This 200 year old lodge is nestled within its own private gardens and grounds, and surrounded by woodlands and 5 fishing lakes, including Lough Mask and Lough Corrib. Overlooking the famous fishing lake of Lough Mask, Ballykine House is situated just 20 minutes’ walk from the picturesque village of Clonbur. Lake cruises to Inchagoill Island are available on Lough Corrib, a 15-minute drive away. 

There is a wide range of walking and climbing routes in the scenic woodlands and mountains. This location is also popular for fishing, boating, cycling and horseback riding.
