Since our charter began Jan 2, 1920 our American Legion Post has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces.

Leon Burson Post 395 will honor veterans past and present at
Veterans Walk Memorial Park 11:00am Thursday Nov. 11
Names of veteran bricks added to the park since Memorial day will be announced. The Post honor guard will fire a three shot volley followed by playing of taps. All are invited to attend. Annual Veteran's Day Dinner in evening at Leon Burson Post 395 510 E. Dearborn St. Plano, IL.

Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.
Post 395 activities include Scholarships for our children; giving aid and assistance to our local needy Veterans and their families and other worthy community programs and projects.
