I have practiced Internal Medicine since 1993. I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine (A.B.O.M) and am also certified by the US Drug Enforcement Agency to prescribe Suboxone, a medication designed to enable detox and ongoing treatment for patients with addictions to opiates in the outpatient setting. I have a busy Internal Medicine Practice and also a growing Practice helping those with addictions to illegal drugs and prescription pain medications.
I have established a solo practice with the goal of providing quality health care using an integrative approach to healing and wellness. I have always believed that effective communication and trust are the cornerstone of the doctor patient relationship.
I will provide healthcare for all individuals age 12 and older. Patients are welcome by appointment only.
In 2007 my patients were kind enough to rank me in the top 1% of Physicians in the US according to surveys of inpatients and outpatients by Press Ganey, a National Healthcare Consulting Firm which represents 40% of Hospitals and Healthcare institutions in the USA. In 2008 I was ranked in the top 3% of Physicians in the US according to the same measures. I was also listed in Top Doctors in USA 2008.
I am an instructor in Medicine at Rush Medical College and University of Chicago Medical School.
Currently I serve on a number of Boards and Committees at Advocate Condell Medical Center. I am a Member of the Medical Executive Committee. I am also a member of the Advocate Condell Governance Council.
I am proud to serve Advocate Condell Medical Center as the first elected President of the Board of the Advocate-Condell PHO. In that role I also serve as a voting member of the Advocate Physician Partners Board of Directors, made up of Physician and Administration leaders from 8 Advocate Hospitals across Chicago.
I am a member of the Medical Staff of Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois and Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, Illinois (NorthShore University Healthcare).
