Since 1954, the Schwartz family of Herb's Bakery have been baking up wonderful bakery delights for the Fox Valley area. Still using the same time-honored recipes from days gone by and creating new delights for their customers, Herb's Bakery is sure to have something for everyone.
From old-fashioned cake donuts and danish, to our own specialties such as, individual desserts, snack breads and custom-decorated cakes.
We also do a variety of "Dessert Cakes" created for smaller parties. They also work wonderfully for a "Cake Buffet Table" at weddings, corporate functions and other get-togethers.
For corporate or business functions, we not only offer the basic morning fare- donuts, danish, and kringles- but we also do mouth-watering cookie platters. Ask about our "Picture Perfect" cakes and cookies we nave done for company parties, anniversaries and promotions.
For cakes, you have come to the right place! Our award winning decorators have created everything from the simple and elegant rolled fondant cakes, to a "Sand Castle", Halloween themed cakes. We offer a large variety of cake flavors, cake fillings and icings. Our cakes are made fresh, from scratch right here! We use our own delicious buttercream icing or whipped topping. Some tempting flavors we carry--red velvet chocolate cake, lemon poppy seed, marble and more! Looking for something different? Ask us! Our Pastry Chef also creates an elegant (and delicious) Sweets Table, (a variety of miniature desserts, such as: eclairs, creme puffs, cannoli's, and more)
And remember how special the bakery made the holidays seem? (and taste!) We do delicious, scrumptious treats year round! The "Mardi-Gras King Cake", Pazcki's, Hot Cross Buns, Irish Soda Bread, wonderful Easter Breads, Lamb Cakes, Valentine Sweets, Summer Desserts, Fruit Pies and Creme Pies, Holiday breads and rolls, Tom & Jerry Mix, Fruitcake (fresh, mind you!), Pfeffemusse and Springerle Cookies, and made fresh daily - the Soft Bavarian-style German Pretzel and Pretzel Roll!
